Privacy policy
Word Solitaire is designed as a lightweight browser game. It does not require an account, and game progress is saved locally on your device.
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Word Solitaire handles information when you use WordSolitaire.org. The game is currently built for browser play without user accounts, profile pages, payment forms, newsletters, chat, or server-side saved games.
Information we store locally
Word Solitaire uses browser storage on your device to remember game progress, unlocked levels, stars, settings, tool-use counts, and similar gameplay preferences. This local save data helps the word puzzle continue where you left off.
Local browser storage stays on your device unless your browser, operating system, extension, backup system, or manual action syncs or removes it. You can clear it by using your browser's site data controls.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require an account or collect usernames, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, or mailing addresses through the game.
- We do not knowingly collect payment card information, government identifiers, precise location, or health information.
- We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current version does not include third-party advertising scripts, behavioral ad targeting, or account analytics. If analytics, ads, affiliate links, or paid features are added later, this policy should be updated before those features go live.
Children's privacy
Word Solitaire is a general-audience word game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future contact or account feature, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
U.S. state privacy choices
Some U.S. state privacy laws, including California privacy laws, may give residents rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information when a business collects covered personal information. Because the current game does not require accounts and keeps gameplay progress locally, most routine save data is controlled directly through your browser.
If future features collect personal information, Word Solitaire should provide an appropriate notice at collection, describe the categories of information collected, and offer legally required choices before those features launch.
Security and changes
No website or browser storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. We keep the current product simple by avoiding account registration and server-side save data. This policy may be updated as the site changes, and the updated date will show when the policy was last revised.
